Sample characterisation
Send us your sample today. We will ship it back along with a time-resolved cathodoluminescence map.
Time-Resolved Cathodoluminescence
Measurement Service
Get temporally and spectrally resolved CL data
You choose important points on your sample that you would like to characterize. We excite each of these points with a resolution of 50 nm. We measure the cathodoluminescence signal and resolve it temporally and spectrally.
Tell us about your needs
Please always contact us before shipping your sample so that we can book a measurement time slot for you. You will have to communicate your requirements:
- excitation points & spatial resolution,
- temporal & spectral range,
- temporal & spectral resolution,
- measurement temperature.
High temporal and spatial resolution
| Sample temperature | 90 K or 300 K |
| Probe current | 10 pA (corresponds to 1 electron/pulse |
| Resolution in secondary electron mode |
50 nm |
| Acceleration voltage | 2-20 kV |
| Detectable wavelength | 210-800 nm (IR on demand) |
| Temporal resolution | 10 ps |
| Temporal range | 10 ps - 2 ns |
| Repetition rate | 80 MHz |
The standard configuration of our time-resolved cathodoluminescence set-up is shown in the table here above. We keep improving our ultrafast 4D SEM please. Please contact us to learn about latest improvement.
